Watched the 2nd movie yesterday and really enjoyed it overall but i hope they find a proper and compelling reason for a sequel because the 2nd did a good job making us take interest in the story.

The second film did seem much more like a "franchise" to me. The original had sequel potential but I think also existed well enough as a one off "seemingly normal man in standard profession is secret badass" genre. This one I think obviously increased the scale but also pushed the characters that bit further.

I do think Afffleck and Bernthal play off each other really well and do make for much more than a standard crime thriller.

That they do. I found their on-screen chemisty very entertaining, especially the brotherly-love scenes where Brax mocks Chris. Overall, I thought the second film was entertaining, but not as good as the first one.

I don't believe Chris needs to "find love," so-to-speak, although I wouldnt oppose him getting with, say, Anna Kendrick's character. The dialogue between Chris and Braxton at the trailer park was fitting enough for why Chris doesn't need a love interest, not to mention their conversation at the end of the film about

[Show spoiler]spending time together and going on a camping trip

. I think Chris will find his happiness through

[Show spoiler]making up for lost time with his brother

and

[Show spoiler]knowing the kids at the Neuroscience Center are thriving with Justine

in addition to his job as an Accountant.
