After multiple releases of the first season, I assumed this was a given, but VERY happy to have confirmation.

As with the first season, I'll just wait for the discs. Already played the games, so I don't think I have to worry too much about spoilers.

Hopefully they release a steelbook here in the US when it first comes out rather than making us wait an extra year like they did with Season 1.

I'll be getting it on Day 1. I've already watched the first episode twice lol. I'll be posting my notes from each episode in the show thread. And once there's a good number or at the end of the season I'll repost them here under spoiler tags.

To make sure they work. If I watch as they get released on HBO, I usually don't revisit something for a while. This way I can make sure all of the discs function properly. I've had 2 discs this month alone that I bought a WHILE back, just got around to watching them, and they freeze up (Phantom Thread and Eternal Sunshine...). They are both FAR past their returnability, so I'm stuck with defective discs.

Also better A/V than streaming.

Have been holding off watching this as Max downgraded me from 4K HDR. Look forward to picking this up on disc and watching it at its full potential. I assume this will be the usual Dolby Vision and Atmos from HBO.

I haven't played any video games since the early 2000's. And I'm not interested in them anymore. But, in spite of this being based on a video game, I saw the first series on HBO. And, with the exception of the lame, gay episodes that seemed to be shoe horned into the story line just to appease gays, I liked the series. Especially the last episode with the town full of cannibals. I just pre-ordered the 2nd season 4K UHD. Looking forward to September for this.

IIRC every Season Two episode except the second contains at least one gay scene, so I'd recommend you cancel your pre-order.

For the millionth time. Nothing was shoe horned in, it’s all from the video game source material.
