Has anyone heard of Redbox? - Blu-ray Forum

We have these lil movie kiosks all over here in utah. $1 per day movies. I just wish they rented blu-rays too! I bet there are other brands of these kiosks everywhere. just kinda wondering how many of you use them to rent your movies

Here in Houston we have a bunch of this Redbox they have new releases for a buck not bad at all

We have them in Connecticut too. I rented from them couple time for the movies that I couldn't wait from Netflix. I wish they had Bluray. I'm prettry sure once BD becoming main stream they'll put half DVD and Half BD in there.

Anyhoo, we have Redbox machines in supermarkets here in SD...I found out about it on the CoinStar website (same company) and got a code for free a rental by signing up...which I have yet to use!

While I'm somewhat on the topic, I hope everyone knows that at certain CoinStar machines, it will waive the coin counting fee if you turn your coins into prepaid gift cards or e-gift certificates for one of several retailers including AMAZON.com and Circuit City

Loose change = Blu-rays

Yep, Ive seen them too. A buddy at work uses them every now and then, and seems to like them. I looked them up online to see who owns them, and was surprised to find out it was McDonalds.
