Freaking finally. I've always hated this show.

I do sympathize with those of you who enjoyed it, though.

I was going to write the first part but didn't want to because it fell rather wrong to bash on it like that. Your second part tied in quite nicely

this does suck.... truly one of the funniest cartoons. I've been afraid of this ever since fox stopped putting out the seasons on dvd (I have all up to 6). It upsets me that so many people never gave this a chance and love crap like family guy .

Knowing Fox they will probably offer Palin a Sunday evening show to fill the slot.

Hank is based on the guy from Beavis and Butthead, Mr. Anderson, but they aren't the same character. Mr. Anderson was an older man, but in reality he's just a retired version of Hank Hill.

fox is the best at getting people to forget about a show so they can stop picking it up

I always liked this show, however after more then 10 years it has run it's course. I'm glad they decided to let this show go while they still had some good writing ideas. I will always remember King of the Hill as one of the funniest prime time animated series ever.
Now if they'd just pull the plug on the Simpsons and put that show out of it's misery. The writing has gotten so bad each episode is an incoherent mess that rarely follows a single plot line.
