Why do extras on Blu suck!!!

I just went through a considerable portion of reviewed movies on this site and am quite concerned by the lack of special features or poor ratings given to features by the reviewer(s).

I was under the impression that Blu-ray had the potential for greatness - huge storage (25-50 gigs), and while the video and sound is dazzling, for me to spend an extra 10$ on a BD I need features that at least match their Standard Def DVD brethren. At least throw in another disk for special features.

When I look at my T2 SD DVD vs. the Blu counterpart, the SD has loads of stuff compared to the pittance on the Blu. Same goes with From Hell, Hell Boy, AVP. When I see a 5 disk Blu version of Blade Runner for 36$, and a single disk of the above titles with no features for 25$-32$, I'm left a little puzzled.

In the hopes of swaying people over to the HiDef side, I would have expected that the Blu camps and studios would have given more than just picture and sound to differentiate themselves from standard def. It's just a let down and a lack of fulfillment when I should feel utter elation and resounding affirmation that my money is well spent and the future is here.
