There's a Jeremy Renner video on YouTube where he talks about some of his roles, timed to promote Mayor of Kingstown and Hawkeye. He mentions how he went in to talk about Super 8 and walked out getting Mission: Impossible. And he refers to his role as a trilogy. So did he misspeak or does this mean he's coming back for the final movie?

So perhaps that was true of a trilogy at that time, and he misspoke just now. But I hope he returns for 7 or 8.

As far as any action hero getting older, it is going to happen no matter what.

Tom Cruise is 59 years old.

Not a big deal, yet it's possible in order to gain muscle for the role faster, Cruise ate a lot of calories per day (5000) and any excess that is not used for muscle turned to fat, resulting in a puffier looking face from weight gain. Older people with more weight on their face (more fat in the face) tend to look generally younger because if it, since the wrinkles are smoothed out by the fat, compared to very thin faces where every wrinkle will show.

As long as he kicks @ss in the film like he does in past films, I don't care if he's heavier or not. At 59 though, I guess he can still run really fast too. He's still riding sportbikes which is good to see.
