Default will the HL61A750 be much of an improvement for me?

So I've had a Toshiba 46H84 for a few years, and while i've been happy with it I decided to upgrade and ordered the Samsung 61A750. Should I expect much of an improvement in picture quality over my Toshiba?

It was really hard to tell what to expect from the Samsung based upon what I saw at Bestbuy and HHgregg. I ordered the Samsung based mainly upon the positive reviews that I have heard because it didn't look very good in the stores but neither did the plasmas or lcds. In fact, I get a better pic on my 46H84 than what I saw on the $5500 Pioneer Kuro that Bestbuy is selling, and it was running Transformers on bluray, but I'm sure that it's just because Bestbuy doesn't have their tvs set up properly.

The Samsung 750 should be an LED based DLP. I have the HL-T5689S, which was the top of the line in 2007, with the LED light engine (before Samsung downgraded the current 56" and went back to the color wheel and arc lamp). The TV's at Best Buy are not set up properly. I am not familiar with your Toshiba set, but I love my Samsung, and I am sure your 61" will have a gorgeous picture, once you take the time to make all the adjustments to your liking. I just got a BluRay Player and my Samsung supports 1080/24p and the picture is amazing!
