Default Will Viera work on the PS3?

Does anyone know if the new Panasonic Viera technology will work on the PS3? Or will it just work on Panasonic machines?

Nope, it'll only work w/ other panasonic components. Sony and samsung have the same thing on some of their newer products as well. Just get a harmony remote and it's all good... Plus the ps3 remote too....

Yeah, it would be more convenient but the ps3 is ahead of it's time. I think in a few years more and more manufacturers will start using bluetooth for their remotes.
