Default Help finding a new stand

I need a new stand for my TV/receiver etc... I have a 40" Samsung LCD TV (LN-T4061F) and the stand needs to have three shelves (most I look at have 2) or if it has two shelves, then it needs to be able to mount the TV on top of the stand. Anyone have any ideas (links)... thanks in advance for any input.

I use this one:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1152228084381

for my 42" LCD. works great. i can take a pic of how i have it setup if u would like.

i have a ps3 and an onkyo txsr605 on the middle shelf and just use the bottom shelf for my blu-rays right now.

its a little bit of a pain to put together, but it works well.

the 30lb limit doesnt seem to apply to the shelves. looks like i have more than that on the middle one. =D

i wrote one of the reviews for it on bestbuys site.

i also got it on sale for $150. so thats not the normal EVERYDAY price.

Z-line designs makes some nice flat panel stands. You should check around online but here is their site

http://www.z-linedesigns.com/

They also sell on Amazon and Circuit City.

that's not bad... I prefer one more shelf though (I should have said 3 shelves aside from the top)... I want to put my TV on top and I also have an Onkyo 605, a PS3, a TiVo HD and my center speaker. So, I'm looking for something a little bigger but that's the right idea... thanks.

I'm having a hard time finding an entertainment center designed with a large enough spot for my center channel which is pretty tall..... but still have enough large openings for receiver etc. so they have air circulation. I also want a nice solid, dark wood perhaps..... it's tough.. just keep looking!

Hard to find one with 3 shelves. what if you put your receiver on a seperate rack or stand of some sort? I do that at home because the stand I have isnt big enough to hold my receiver, annoying but...

Some of these seperate Audio Racks are nice...

I'm exactly in the same boat. I have B&W CDM-CNT for the center and it is about 12" high. I just couldn't find anything that fits all my stuff. My father-in-law is pretty good with carpentry so he made me one. Looks okay but honestly I want something much better. Maybe I'll just hang my plasma on the wall, get a center speaker stand and put it below the plasma and move all the other components to the side in an audio rack.

My center is the B&W HTM7 it's the Tweeter and the sloped design that gets you!!!!!!!

I bought the center "Stand" that B&W sells for it.... but I'd like to get it UNDER the T.V. and not two feet in front/under the T.V. (if that makes sense)

I know what you mean, that is also how I prefer it...just like in many showrooms I've been to. Unfortunately in order to have this size of a center speaker on a stand to be under the tv, you'd have to mount the tv (as I've described earlier). I can't think of any other way.

Anyways, I'm still debating if I should go that route or continue looking for a nicer entertainment center that will fit my center speaker along with the other components.

If my center speaker isn't too big, I'm thinking I could put that on one of the shelves, my Receiver on another shelf and then stack my PS3 on top of my Tivo on the third shelf... I need to measure, but I think it could work. Plus, this unit has storage built into the sides (for games, PS3 controllers etc)... so maybe. Plus it's on sale and isn't too pricey.

That's what i have. The glass shelves are adjustable. Too bad you don't live close to me, as i am going to sell the exact same stand.

Thanks for all your input... I ended up finding one at Best Buy ...

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1152836583288

The shelves actually have more room than what the picture on the website depicts. I put my center speaker on the middle shelf... and on the bottom shelf, I put my Onkyo Receiver on the left and my Tivo HD with my PS3 on top of it on the right. The unit was pretty easy to assemble and it's VERY sturdy. For a couple hundred bucks, I'm VERY pleased.

Does anyone know where I could get a good wall entertainment center for widescreen TVs? I've been looking everywhere for a nice wall unit for my home theater room, and so far, I've come up empty. I'd like it to have a nice medium-brown wood finish, and hopefully doors. It needs to handle my 50" Sony SXRD, 7 components, and hopefully the center channel under the display.

I really haven't seen anything that I've been totally excited over except in the $4k-$5k range, and I don't think I'm ready to spend that much on a wall unit. If I do have to spend anything in that range, I'll hire a builder.

Any suggestions out there? I would greatly appreciate some help finding good sources for this.

Thanks
