Onkyo TX-SR805 Headphone Input quality question - Blu-ray Forum

Does the quality of the Headphone amp sound clean , with no hiss?

I want to buy it, and I do like to use high quality headphones and headphone amps, I want the best.

I love this Pioneer VSX-815 but its headphone amp input really stinks and has terrible hiss. ON the contrary, the speakers don't hiss until its near maxed out , when very well my ears would be on the floor anyways.

OOPS SORRY I JUST NOTICED THE RECEIVER SECTION, Please forgive my newbieness.

I unfortunately don't have nice headphones to test and see for you, the reciever makes the speakers sound phenomenal but I've never plugged headphones in. I'll give this a bump for your sake though.

oh wow I like this receiver.

I just need to know if there is hiss or not.
The Pioneer hisses like a snake.
