I'll wait too, but I hope its the ending in the book. The whole reason its called "I am legend" is because of the end of the book!

I heard that it's not the same as the book but it is better than the theatrical ending.

From what I've heard it's even farther away from the book, though that does not mean it still might not be a better ending to the Movie.
