that was uhm..... kinda lame. i liked th original better. more emotional. this was more hollywood. seriously though how is it "Controversial"?

I like both endings.. will decide on which ending I want to watch depending on the mood Im in that day

Alternate endings are cool in a way and kinda fun but when you have them there is no real ending to the movie.

ha! well I'm sure that theres a huge list of movies you love that would make me go "wtf" as well, and I'm positive many of my choices would give you the same reaction. I thought Will was great in it, the action was edge of your seat as well as the suspense, and I didn't think the 'creatures' looked fake at all. Everything IMO of course.

Im weird like that though. I actually liked "Superman Returns" better than the Donner flicks, think that Burton is seriously overrated especially with regards to BATMAN, and I really liked Ang Lee's version of "The Hulk" go figure.

i thought the one part about the original ending was really stupid instead of staying with the grenade and jumping like a hero he could've thrown the grenade and left through the secret door like the kid and the girl but i guess that wouldnt make it that heroic ne1 else felt like that cause me and my mates did

Actually, I don't think the girl and her son could have left since I think it was more of an alcove, not a secret path. I thought that because the Dr. told them to stay in there until morning.
