CC XBR 4 issue - Blu-ray Forum

to put it simple i dont how to turn on CC on my tv. i hit the button on the remote and it doesnt do anything. i messed witht the settings all morning to get it to work. i simplily cant get the CC to turn on. the big problem is my parents are deaf and i feel guilty when we are watching tv together here with no CC.

Your problem might not be with the TV but the the Direct TV reciever you are using.If its the silver HR20 reciever there is a CC menu option in the set up menu.You might want to check that out.

Moe is probably right. I have Verizon fios and the TV CC option does not work I have to change the fios box settings to enable CC.

You should have an option in you set up for the CC feature.

Cable or direct tv doesnt have anything do with CC, It will be tV setting not cable. I am Deaf and OP needs to turn on CC in TV not cable box. Mostly of time cc will work on CC1 not T1

i have it on CC1 but i tried all the others

found it cant beleive i didnt find that before. well problem solved!
