Default Do you buy dramas and comedies in blu-ray?

Most of the movies I watch are 1930-1970 German, Italian, and French films. Yes, pretentious, I know. Blu-Ray? Not a factor on those. I think these movies just make me used to the lower resolution and I'm just fine with regular DVDs.

I also watch a lot of modern, dialogue comedies and some dramas. When I can buy Talladega Nights for under $5, I just can't justify the purchase of a Blu-Ray for $20 (on sale) to $30. Blade Runner on Blu-Ray? Yes. Little Miss Sunshine? No.

Right now regular DVDs are just too good a bargain, and my HD-A3 (that I bought on clearance and the discs practically paid for the player) upscales them very well.

ps - the HD exclusive library needs to come out with the quickness on Blu. The HD library was infinitely better for a person like me, but now I want those movies forever on Blu!
