Default Semi-Pro hits the court this June with a 2 disc set

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/news...this_June/1587

New Line has announced an early June high-def debut for the Will Ferrell comedy 'Semi Pro,' which will hit Blu-ray as an unrated two-disc special edition.
Failing to generate the same box office excitement of Ferrell's recent sports-themed comedies, 'Semi Pro' only scored a meager $30 million domestic gross. New Line will give the Kent Alterman-directed satire another pass on Blu-ray June 3, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
New Line has not released supplement details yet for the Blu-ray, dubbed the "Let's Get Sweaty Edition, but with two full discs to fill we expect plenty of bonus features.
Tech specs include a never-before-seen Unrated cut of the film presented in 1080p video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 7.1 Surround audio. Watch for full specs to be announced soon.
Retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $35.99.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Semi Pro' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under June 3.
We've also set up a dedicated thread for Will Ferrell's latest in our Forums area -- click the following link to discuss the 'Semi Pro' Blu-ray release.

Disney is asking that much for their new catalog releases, Signs and Gangs Of New York.

Besides, it's MSRP. Amazon will have this for $25 or so.

I'll be getting this purely because it's the unrated cut

Disney catalogue titles are usually 19.99 on amazon.com with a $10 off for the dvd owners, which is a pretty decent price. It beats Fox's ridiculous $27.99 listings on amazon.

Alot of people hate semi pro....Its not the best thing ever...BUT...its definatly not the worst...i thought it was funny...sometimes dumb also but thats just what it was suppose to be...I played basketball in highschool and like basketball movies & sports movies...funny or serious ones. if you like to buy some movies on blu and some on dvd...i would get this one on dvd probably....BUT...if your collecting blu...i would say get this right away.

I'm getting this fo sho. I mean hell, people bought Blades of Glory, and IMO thats an absolutely horrible movie. I made my Ex come to Shooter with me because she made me go to Blades of Glory.

Yah my ex didnt like Semi Pro either, but she loved BOG...ugh. I am a HUGE Outkast fan, and I also like Woody and Will quite a lot, so this movie was gold for me.

I have to go see it again! I can't remember anything from it and I know I laughed my balls off the first time I saw it. Good thing it's at the cheap theaters

Yeah, but that was when Disney catalog titles had a MSRP of $29.99. The newer announcements (Signs, Gangs Of New York) have a MSRP of $34.99. So they will be more like $23-$24 on Amazon.

Personally, watching one Will Ferrell movie is like watching any other Will Ferrell movie.

Take that as you wish.

This will either be a first week blind buy since it should be on sale or I will wait for it to be part of a promotion.

I heard mixed review for this movie, even from fans of Will Farrell... Im waiting on Blades of Glory, I think that is a better movie.

Everyone compares his movies to Old School and Anchorman, and theres no reason because nothing will ever be equal
