I suppose more games are going to start taking advantage of Blu-ray now.

The first one was a great game, and there is no doubt in my mind that this one won't be an absolute spectacular game and a must own.

Not incredibly shocking that Resistance 2 is using nearly all 50GB. How else would they cram all that in? 9GB? Pffh. Yeah right.

Nice to hear them restate that the PS3 is going for 10 years. (3:45)

A million dollars G4 rates GeoW 2 better. Even though GeoW will have 1/4 the online support, 1/10 the length of the campaigns, worse graphics, and worse gameplay.

For real, Resistance was so underrated compared to the complete worshipping Gears got. The online sucked and the campaign was short. People act like Gears was the first game to have a cover system. I mean, huge guys shooting scary aliens and ripping them apart with chainsaws is cool, but I thought Resistance was just as good if not better.

I enjoyed Gears of War as well. but overall gameplay and controls were much better on Resistance IMO. Campaign mode was not even comparable between the 2, Resistance wins there hands down. With Resistance 2 coming out on a 50GB BD, I would put my money there!

Dude, Gears is a damn good game, the campaign rocked and it was very graphically impressive. I'm sure R2 will be better than Gears 2, but your making it look like Gears 2 will suck.

not a big surprised its going to be around 50GB, it looks beautiful, haha... and yes Gears has always been weak... just as much as Halo *shrugs* both are over hyped.

Yeah, thats because Resistance 2 will make Gears 2 look like it sucks.

There is no way they will be able to cram a game onto 8GB of space that is going to be able to even come close with Resistance. Everything about Resistance is going to be better I think and things like the Campaign and Online are going to be vastly superior.

i'd have to agree with this post . Not to offend anyone but i couldn't even get past playing more than 1 hour of Resistance. I just couldn't get into it. It was not doing anything special for me and the shooting wasn't fun for me. I thought the guns were cool. Maybe i didn't give it a chance but i want games to suck me in from the start and i just didn't get into it that much. Maybe i didn't give it enough chance but that's my point now. too many games to play in the mean time.

that being said, gears of war is not the best game ever by any means. The graphics were impressive but the art wasn't believable with the same mustang or whatever that thing was sprinkled everywhere. Just didn't match. I will say they had the best use of a chainsaw in a game , it was just plain fun , the camera was cool and cover system as well.

Knowing myself though, i will look forward to this game as the art was cool from what i saw in the first and i might get a little more interested as time progresses. No need to hate, just my opinion
