Seems like I heard that Ronin was being released last year but never was. What happened there? Anyone hear anything about it? I love that movie, would make a great Blu...especially with a PCM track.

You may have "heard" that it was supposed to be released last year. I, however, read here on this forum that it was delayed.

I have the Japanese edition of Rounin. It's MPEG-2 encoded on a BD-25 with ZERO extras featuring ENGLISH DTS-HD MA and Japanese DTS and English/Japanese optional subtitles. PQ is underwhelming and I still don't understand why FOX/MGM had repeatedly bumped the stateside release of this title.

The only thing that can save this Blu-ray from the reviewers and the fans is FOX/MGM doing a re-master and throwing the basic Film extras.

My hard earned $35 went into the drain. Terribly disappointed.

Hi Def Digest still has Ronin listed as delayed, but now for this year. It was supposed to be released last year and was delayed.
