When do you usually watch your movies?

It seems like i dont have time to watch movies anymore besides Saturday and Sunday and even on those days i got family and sports stuff going on. I get home from school and work and there is just no way i can hang through a movie. I tried it with No country for old Men and i fell asleep.

When do you guys usually watch your Blu rays? and have you ever watched more than 1 in a day or night?

whenever the mood strikes me. i'm home sick from work today so i'm listening to some SACDs and will probably be subjected to Enchanted on BD by my wife. but i feel like some pirates on bd after that.

Weekends, and with two kids - we usually have to split up the bigger movies into two sessions.

That's the biggest reason I love Blu and a projector - can't do that at a movie theater.

Usually one per night starting around 9 pm. Last night I watched Enchanted followed by Hellboy. A strange combo, but quite satisfying.

It all depends when i can get a chance. But most the time its sunday the only real day i can get away from it all' and relax and let my hair down.

yeah, the problem is, with a new baby in the house, I can usually catch a flick at night, but I can't really crank it up to enjoy it. If my wife goes somewhere on Sat/Sun. and takes our son with her, then I crank it to Eleven (it's one higher ) and try to get a nice violent flick in, and if she just runs to the store etc, and my kid is with me, he likes to be held and we just rock out to some CDs/SACDs (he's a huge Greatful Dead fan ) and he loves to be carried around the room.

If she leaves for a short period of time and takes him, I'll listen to music REALLY LOUD...... not sure why, I think it brings out the subtle nuances in it, so I'll be rockin' out Miles Davis at levels usually reserved for the Hair-Band era!!!!


I've gone on long enough with this!!!! I want to go home and enjoy some blu.

Tomorrow is a day off for me, Good Friday???? I'd say so!!!!!

i try to watch one every night and then a couple on the weekends but since were supposed to get some snow this weekend i have a feeling im going to be watchin a few next to the fireplace

I have watched several in a day before (unemployed at the time)

I personally have a problem with sleeping through movies regardless, that's why I stopped going to the theatre. Movies I would wait months to go see, I would be asleep within the first half hour and wake up almost without fail right after the climax. (ha he said climax).

I watch them whenever I have the time, but generally have to wake up and skip back five chapters and get going again. Normally this happens only once during the movie, but has happened to me four times in one of the Die Hard blus.

Any night there isn't a hockey game on... and one or 2 on my day off. Usually weekends are too busy to watch more than maybe one for the whole weekend.

I usually watch them on the weekend in the evening at around 7:00 so the movie will be done just in time to go to sleep.

Friday nights (with wife), Saturday mornings (while wife sleeps... throw in a little DevilMayCry 4 as well), Saturday nights and Sunday mornings (again, while wife sleeps).

Always on Friday and Saturday nights, sometimes two. Sunday through Thursday it depends on whether I have work to do and what titles I have on hand. I don't have kids, but I have three parrots, and I usually don't get done with them until after 7:30 pm, then I still have to get some exercise myself, eat and do whatever mundane tasks need to be done. I might watch rental DVD's while riding the stationary bike or running on the treadmill, but if there is a good surround sound track, I won't watch it until I have time to turn off the lights and sit in my sweet spot. I have this most wonderful wife who lets me sit in the spot straight in front of the screen and calibrate the speakers to that position.

In the evening or on my days off. Try to watch at least 1 or 2 a day, but that can sometimes slip by the wayside.

Not that I would recommend it for anyone, but being disabled gives me a little free time.

I just watched Chicken Little *AND* Cars today.
Might pop in another here in a few... Looks like It's going to be Superman Returns.
Probably take laptop out on the patio - nice day and all.

For me its usually Saturday night, start about 7pm 2 movies or maybe 3 depends on what I have on hand but always the the first movie is with the kids and then the last one or two is for me and the wife.
