Just got the onkyo 605 and why is it that to hear anything at a good volume it has to be at 70+? The max is 100. Please help, this is frustrating me!

if you bump up the DB's for each channel and for the source under intellivolume you can create the illusion you are gettin louder sound at a lower level. However you will probably also introduce white noise and an audible humm in the speakers as well.

To be honest, mine is roughly the same way, and most people have said the same, I'd say this is normal, I wouldn't worry about it.
