Default Blade Runner Briefcase Question

Hey all, first thread, hope it's in the right area and everything .

I have the dvd briefcase edition of Blade Runner at home, and I'm planning to get the blu-ray version of the movie soon. I want to get the briefcase version again because I enjoy extra stuff like that, but I am curious if there is any actual difference between the briefcase designs.

I know this is a nitpicky question, but I'd really like to know before I buy it if there is any difference. from pictures, it looks like the only difference is the plastic around the case which says blu-ray on it... not sure what the standard dvd one has in place.

well, as I said might be a weird question but I thought it was worth asking and I'm certain that this is the place to ask it. thanks a bunch.

Don't forget to submit replacement disc program after you bought a Blade Runner Briefcase on Blu. The issue were Disc 5 that are the same as Disc 1 but the logo on disc is different. Just to make sure you have the right disc by looking at the time frame.

As far as I know the contents of the BD packaging is the same as the DVD edition. Instead, might I suggest you wait until Warner releases their coffee table book edition. That way you have both versions and different packaging. Here is the link to the news section with info on the BD book edition: https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=1096
