So I apologize if this is a repost. I did search and couldn't find anything...
Anyway, I just got a Sammy 32" 720p TV today, and was setting it up with my PS3. The PS3 auto detected best settings and recommended 1080p, which wasn't a surprise to me b/c I know 720p TV's will just dilute a 1080p signal down to 720p. But, when I took a look at the resolution my TV was displaying (by pressing the info button) it said 1920 x 1280 @ 60 hz. Is this possible? I got the TV from BB and they said it was only 720p, the manual doesn't say anything about that, it actually does mention 1080i though. Heres the exact model: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1202648987833 I'm skeptical that the TV is actually showing 1080p, but why would it say it is running at 1920 x 1280 then? |
