So I am trying to find something to watch when i came across memphis belle and then realized how awesome that movie would be in blu. Who is with me!!!!!!!!!

Love this movie. I'd love it on Blu. Right on the pickle barrel.

One my of favorite war films and I have owned the DVD for several years. I actually remember seeing it in theater in October of 1990. It's also one of the few 90s films I can think of that was done in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio.

It's agony for me to point this out, but the film this forum thread is attached to is actually a 1944 Jimmy Stewart flick.

There's a 1944 Jimmie Stewart movie with the same title? In any case, the 1990 movie is also one of my favorite movies of all time. One of my top 10 easily.

Try contacting warnerbros about a Memphis Belle release with extras.
Warner won't do it cus they think they won't make money but if more and more people write to Warner Bros I'm sure they will relase it soon. Rememeber they want cash and if we can show a great interest for HD wide screen version of Memphis belle 7:1 sound then we are getting somewhere.

I too would love to see this in its full glory.
