I was wondering what is the difference between all the video codecs that are used for HD movies? I have noticed that a majority of the videos coming out for Blu-ray uses AVC. Furthermore, all of the WB titles I have seen uses VC-1 which I am assuming pertains to the technology used in the days of HD-DVD? I remember hearing too before that Blu-ray was MPEG-2 whereas HD-DVD was MPEG-4. Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks.
