Default movies on blu which have way too many previews

Anyone have a list of movies on blu that have an annoying amount of previews? some are just insane... POTC especially. I bought 3:10 To Yuma, loaded it in the PS3 and started it... Must be close to 25 minutes of previews you cant skip over. I though some SDVDS had a ton of previews but this takes the cake. I fixed some popcorn got some pop for my gf and I ... then the previews started... we pretty much munched down all the popcorn before the movie even started... then like an idiot i bumped the stop button on the PS3... of course it has no resume play so we have to go through all the previews again. I hope they dont use all that extra disc space for previews instead of uncompressed soundtracks etc.

you know you can fastforward through the previews. Though you can't SKIP through them.

I have seen quite a few titles that allow fast forwards but don't allow chapter skips during previews.

I think It's rediculous when they try to "sell" blu-ray technology to people who are clearly already "sold" on it or they wouldn't be watching the movie in the first place. It's annoying One of the things I really liked about HD DVD looking back was that there were no previews or annoying "BUY OUR TECHNOLOGY BECAUSE IT'S SUPERIOR" ads.

I think the idea is not so much to hook you on Blu-ray since you've already pulled the trigger (so to speak), but perhaps you have friends and/or family over who DON't have Blu-ray and they might be swayed by the ads.

Actually, that's incorrect. Some titles do allow you to skip ahead, but many don't.

I do watch previews, but I do not like the way they are presented on Blu-rays. Previews should be a menu option that you can select if you wish. I would always select them out of curiosity, but I do not want to have to manually fast forward or skip them every time I want to see the film!

Well, maybe not always, but with a new release I'd be curious to see what was upcoming.
