Default Hiding Wires for 7.1

Hey again. Last post of the day. But Im going to try to wire the 2 rears to make 7.1. Im just curious if anyone has any suggestions as for hiding wires, since i do not like to see them best I can. My current surround wires are tucked under the trim on the wall, but I doubt i can fit another wire in there for the rears. Any suggestions or items to buy to cover these up?

If you have white baseboards you can use Cordmate C50 wire channels, available at any hardware store. I mounted them flush over the baseboards and they're barely noticeable.

A big throw rug always works. Just make sure its big enough to go from your couch to TV.

Dont think that would really work. since the surrounds would be to the sides of the couch and the rears would be even further back behind the couch. But thanks for the help.

We have all our wire running under our house, I don't know if that is an option or not. Makes it a pain in the ass if you ever want to move them though.

Wiremold is great can be painted to any color and doesn't really stand out, that is if you get the small stuff. You can if you're bold run in the walls thats what I did but its a pain and can take alot of time just to give the super clean look.

I know one of my speakers are tilting weird. I have been fighting it since I installed them. I've been looking into different mounts for awhile now.

if its carpeted you might be able to make a small slit and run flat wire under. using a snake shouldnt be too hard. and depending on the carpet, may not even be noticeable if you move.

I just re-finished my entire room and pulled off the baseboards cut the bottom of the dry-wall cut holes in the ceiling and on the floor drywall fished all the wires through the wall ran them along the cutout to the front of the room where the reciever sits. A lot of work to patch and re-paint but very neat and clean look and feel to the room now.

Nice set up. I cant even see any wires in this picture. maybe its me or maybe you did a great job. very clean. Thats what I try to do. When I eventually buy a house I'll do it up correctly from the get go.

If the room is carpeted, just pull up the carpet and run flat wire anywhere you need to, then put the carpet back down. I did this and it is very clean and cannot see any trace of the wire, but my carpet was pretty deep with a heavy pad.

That seems like the best option. Ok now since i dont know really much about laying carpet or anything, is it a pain in the @ss to pull up carpet? isnt carpet glued? I would need to run under probably 15 ft, give or take...
