30 days of night and i am legend

I was just wondering if these are any good on blu. They are always rented at my local blockbuster and I am not sure if i want to make them a blind buy.

i own both and like them a lot plus i saw both in theaters in my opinion i am legend is better

I am Legend is great, 30 days of Night is so so

I thought I Am Legend was great as an action flick, although typical hollywood deviated from a few important story elements from the book that would have given the movie more substance. Regardless, the PQ on this title is excellent, and it's become the demo disc that I've been using lately to show off blu to friends/family.

Five stars all around. The story on either is questionable but most definitely entertaining. I thought the TrueHD track on 30 Days of Night was the best I've heard.

Picture quality is great yes on these two films, but as a movie they are both so-so, the third act totally destroyed I am Legend, 30 Days of night has awful acting, Hartnet again shows how dull he can be(see "Reseructing the Champ") these are a one time view for me and(I blind bought 30 days and ended up trading it)

30 Days of Night is a good horror flick. I Am Legend is so so, with bad special effects and lots and lots of plot holes.

i loved 30 days of night and i am legend both were blind buys for me. although i had read the 30 days of night novel, def pick ups for me

I have both (have only viewed '30 Days' so far) but I really enjoyed it, the acting notwithstanding...

Really great PQ - I loved the contrast of dark and white (as in the snow) in the movie. Really popped...

Don't have 30 Days of Night, but I Am Legend is a must have for me.

I have both and the PQ/SQ is great on both. I look at it like this...I probably enjoyed 30 Days of Night more while watching it but I've enjoyed I am Legend a little more after the fact (after watching it). 30 Days of Night had a refreshing portrayal of vampires that I really liked and that generated a little discussion after the movie. I am Legend, on the other hand, generated quite a bit of discussion, mainly on the two different endings and I've enjoyed reading the posts, discussions, etc. on that. I thought they were both good though.

i own them both and they are quite amazing 30days of night ive watched more then once but i am legend for me is the kind of movie you can watch like once a year

30 Days of night is a fantastic refreshing take on a bored predictable genre (apart from one certain scene/action )

I am Legend is fantastic during the day scenes, great performance from Smith but in my opinion they should have gone with actors not CG for the monsters/Vamps/thingys whatever you want to call them!

i imagine they both look great on blu ray 30 days of night was flawed but fun i think i Am Legend is a better film but i just like 30 days more.

Fun fact Mike Patton who voiced the darkness in the darkness game did all the vocal/noise work for the creatures in i am legend.
