transfer game saves to a second PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

How do you do this? I was thinking of getting a second PS3 here soon. How do you go about transfering profiles and everything from one PS3 to another? Do you just use and SD card?

yessir sd card with a reader works and thats how i move my gamesaves.just go to your gamesaves folder,highlight the save you want to trasfer,press triangle and click copy.it should see the memory card thats its gonna go to.

Flash drives work too. That's what I always use.

I use my iPod or a removable hard drive, but the above methods work just as well.

how about copying other things like pix or songs ??u can use a flash but u might find them in one album once u copy them back to the second ps3 .is that the case ??
and how about back up ?? can u use back up file from one ps3 ( on a flash ) and restore it on another ps3 .
