Default Anime Audio??? Sometimes Good Mostly Bad...

I'm not the biggest Anime fan but I do enjoy them from time to time. I recently fell in love with The Ghost in the Shell Series. The Movies were great and the audio was impressively top notch. Recently I purchased the Ghost int he Shell Series and the volume goes up and down, is staticy at times and just not conssitent. The DVD is legit and not a bootleg. Im starting to notice the Anime sereis aren't that great but the movies are pretty good. Any info on this?

Because on movies they can take their time. On TV they are recording the dialog right before the show goes on the air

Your typical anime TV series has a smaller production budget for 26 episodes than 2 episodes of Lost
