Uwe Boll Wants To Do "Grand Theft Auto" Movie - Blu-ray Forum

He forgot to mention how Michael Bay or Brett Ratner's movie would be worth 150 million or more to a studio, while his isn't worth the film in the cans.

While I would definitely prefer a 30 million R rated GTA movie to a 150 million PG13 rated GTA movie, I don't think Uwe Boll is the man for the job.

Considering that the GTA franchise has "borrowed" so liberallly from different movies, I think it's safe to say that a film adaptation done by ANYONE would be horrible, let alone Uwe Boll (or as I like to call him "The Abortion That Got Away"). I believe that Sam Hauser squashed the GTA movie idea quite recently stating he had no interest in making a film adaptation (I don't have a link to support that, but I think Variety reported it).

He has only made some of the worst stuff committed to film usually videogame adaptations like bloodrayne 1 and 2 and house of the dead which all suck hard. he lied about being contacted to do a metal gear solid movie, and kojima blogged that they would never do a film with him. he has said that michael bay is a "****in idiot" and stated he himself is better than mainstream hollywood directors. he also claimed his next film will beat indiana jones at the box office. he is a modern day ed wood without as much vision or talent.
