1) Placed an Order on 2008-Jun-16 at 1:57 PM with $10 coupon. Order total after applying the coupon was $49.80.
2) Sent out an order cancellation email on 2008-Jun-17 11:29 AM and also requesting them to release $10 coupon which was applied on the order. 3) Received Order cancellation email on 2008-Jun-17 at 04:08 PM and the message stating that $10 coupon applied on the order was released for future usage. 4) Received Order Shipped email on 2008-Jun-17 at 05:50 PM ![]() 5) Credit Card statement today shows 2 entries. $10 (discount) + $49.80 (total after discount). 6) Sent out several emails between 2008-Jun-17 and today to look into the matter and at least refund $10. No replies so far. These idiots are hiding their heads and aren't replying at all. 7) I've tried to contact them using the internal contact function on their website, it was working fine before until now, when trying to submit an enquiry, it keep saying "One or more fields are missing or incorrectly filled out". and the required fields is indicating "Enquiry" and "Text" field. I'm pretty sure the required fields has been filled in, but its still not working. This problem has been there since May,12 2008 and still remains unresolved. Update: Problem Solved. Play-asia have acknowledged the mistake. Quote:

Sorry but this is your fault as much as Play Asia's fault. Why order something you no longer want a few hours later?
And when you order something from a shop where you have to e-mail first to cancel an order then it's always a risk that it will ship in between mails. |

So you mean to say that duly removing the $10 coupon from the order but forgetting to cancel the order was right ? How is this possible ?

I am fine with the order being shipped but why do they have to remove the $10 coupon and charge the full amount and why not respond to my queries. ![]() The worst part is their Contact Us page has been reporting a validation error (bug) since the past 1 month despite filling the form properly which makes it impossible for customers to contact them. There was a 90 minute time gap between receiving the cancellation email and the order shipped email. It's quite unusual for some X person to remove the $10 coupon but forgetting to cancel the order.
Aforementioned I have zero issues with the order being shipped but why I was being charged twice and why there is zero reply from the CS still remains a mystery. ![]() |

never imported from play-asia due to their prices and shipping costs but there are so many video games i want that will not come to america so its almost like i have no choice. i wish all video games came to america but only half of them make it to the states
