It helps that a certain other site is actively discouraging freedom of expression.

Yeah..the other site has banned all the Blu-ray supporters from the Blu-ray forum. It's easy hiding behind a keyboard for those idiots..

I was warned on Highdefdigfest(sic). after I called someone a troll. I asked my account be removed. I guess you can call someone a fanboy but you can't call them a troll. I have been using message boards for 20 years and it is the first time I have ever been warned. I won't be going there anymore. They are another pro-HD-DVD site.

I've checked the HD-DVD forum a few times during CES. This forum gets more posts per minute than that forum does per day. Literally.

I have been a long time observer of this forum and I must say this forum has the most level headed people of them all. I have supported Blu Ray since the day I heard the PS3 would come with the drive built in as the standard. Not to mention the studio and CE support. It is alarming how on the other message boards such as High Def Digest (which I love the site) and AVS how fierce HD-DVD supporters are and they continually talk down to people. And as I observed the forums for several months the arguments the HD-DVD supports have continue to lessen (I think now all they have is price, which we all know is a product of time and eventually will be a non issue) and Blu Ray supporters continue to get more and more ammo.

Oh and one more thing before I blab to much. One thread on AVS was bashing the sales of the PS3 in Japan, nearly half a million in less than two months. Yet the 360 has sold almost 200,000 less units in little over a year. Yeah nice try.

It is for these reasons why I and assume many others have found there way here.
