Opinions on non site reviewers promoting their site here?

There are threads now being created where reviewers promoting their own sites reviews, features and forums(including links on sigs). I know the reviewers here take their time and put an expanded effort into the quality reviews we get from them. There are more releases now than in the past and more and more 'fly by night' reviewers are promoting their sites and reviews in the blu-ray movies section of the forum. I noticed the same with the news as well, I understand that Josh is just one guy and the news is released at all hours around the world and he cant be online 24/7 but I find it very disrespectful and kind of a slap in the face.

What is blu-ray.com's stance on this? I know this information is helpful as its appreciated but its no different than a best buy employee going into Circuit City and telling every customer that they have a better price on that same TV they are looking at.

I believe this is no different than 'Spam' and should be moved to where 'members' are supposed to post reviews, in the movies section where reviewers post their reviews. If every member started a review thread the clutter would become unmanageable.
