Terrible news for Microsoft.

^^ Nothing good or positive to spin out of this. A bad trend that simply does not bode well for Vista sales and future prospects.

Windows 7 needs to be something completely new from the ground up, namely: Coding. Vista is clearly the next "Windows ME." There really is no clear and compelling reason or sets of reasons to move from XP to Vista unless you absolutely just need to use more than 4 gigs of RAM.
