Sony GAP - Blu-ray Forum

How does one get in the Sony GAP? I've been dying to get in this thing, but I guess I'm not cool enough because I haven't got an email saying I've been selected.
And if it is invite only, I've got beta invites to about 15 Web 2.0 start-ups if someone wants to trade.

i've been in since it started years and years ago. i just signed up and filled out a bunch of surveys. its just a matter of time i think. its not generally too hard tho

They only admit the elite..

no im kiding of course, it seems sony randomly chooses members from the underground to become gap.

To join the underground is free and everyone is eligible.

Simply sign into the playstation forums.

I guess they do not call it underground anymore but yeah anyway..

As a member of GAP you just need to keep your profile updated with every game, device, and add-on you buy. You also need to partake in the forums and have good discussions not just bashing the users.

same here. i think the coolest and most worth while thing i got to test was the ethernet adapter for the ps2. got a free one out of it

I remember the Sony GAP... still have my membership card in my wallet oddly enough. Been there for years. I forgot all about it. lol Guess I should probably try to log into my account to see if it's still active.

I've done every survey for the past year and I update my profile every time I get a new game. And no invite.

I guess I'm lame.

I think it is decided by the updated profile and the positive discussion and advise givin on the general forms. I got invited after many posts in the general forum and updating my profile. I should update my profile too its been awhile.

I never even posted on the PS forums when I got invited 5 years ago. I did allow contact and mail from sony and sony's partners, I used to get demos all the time before I joined GAP. Ever since getting PS3 I'm very active on the GAP. All you really do is post blogs and stories, or read the same. Sometimes there is worthwhile news and stories, but only sometimes. I guess it's just fun to think Sony is listening, and while I dont think EVERY blog gets to Sony, I think a lot do. So it's pretty cool.
