MGS4's "Steel" PS3 Coming To The US! - Blu-ray Forum

Sony have announced that the gun-metal PS3, previously thought only to be a Japanese exclusive, will be making its way to the US for Metal Gear Solid 4's launch. It'll form part of a hardware bundle that Konami are saying is "VERY, VERY Limited Edition", and I'm not inclined to disagree with them on that one. No further details than that, so we don't know how much its going to cost or whether there'll be any hoops to jump through to get one, but it probably won't be cheap, and hey, they'll probably be hard to come by to boot.

I may be the only one, but that is a hideous color. I really want a new ps3, but I dont think Im going that route.

Why not silver ? or maybe even paint Snake on that ps3 ??

That's pretty sweet looking! In the end I like my black better. Goes with my components better. But very very nice!

I gotta say that's the second best looking color on the PS3. And that is saying something. This bundle is going to sell fast.

It's kind of hard to tell how that color really looks, unless I see it in person. From the pictures it looks pretty good and I would choose the bundle over buying MGS4 and PS3 seperately.

How do you know it won't?

We heard nothing on this yet, other than that it is coming.
Heck, we haven't even seen a box for it yet, so who knows what will be included in.

Does this ps3 have the emotion chip in it ?? or have the specs not been released yet ?

I dont have any ps2 games so I dont the extra heat from this chip.
