GTA IV - Party Mode Question - Blu-ray Forum

I've got a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. When going into multiplayer and choosing Party Mode, my two friends and I cannot get online at the same time. The third one in always gets a "Game Session Has Ended" message or something very similar. It's not the same one of us every time. It's whoever is the third one to join. It's happened no matter which one of us sets the game up and invites the others. I know it's supposed to be up to 8 players or so in Party Mode so not sure why the three of us can't get online together.

Any ideas?

Is someone hosting a normal online game or did you just go to party mode?

One of the three of us when we all first go into multiplayer will choose Party Mode and then invite the other two. So, it's right off the bat that the third person can't get in.

Maybe it's their internet connection. The second day I had the game I did the party mode and invite about 8 people in.

Yeah, we thought that but haven't had any problems in any other game getting online together. Also, no matter who goes into Party Mode and invites the others, the next guy gets in but the third can't so it's not always the same one who can't get in.
