logitech universal remote question - Blu-ray Forum

i have a logitech universal remote for the xbox 360. does anybody know if it will work on the ps3 as well? thanks

Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: Technically it can't since the Logitech uses IR to transmit signals and the PS3 uses Bluetooth. However, some have been able to do a workaround with a (1) PS2 to USB controller adapter then using an (2) IR port from the PS2 DVD remote to send some but not all signals to the PS3 player. Until Sony or a thrid party releases a more official USB->IR adapter that's the only way.
