i was going to purchase the elite 92 receiver first, but i decided to buy the speakers first because my playstatin 3 is going to to decode the latest

yeah i listened to them in my local Magnolia/best buy store.
but i wont be a able to hear them till i purchase a receiver.
i was originaly going to buy the pioneer elite 92 but, i decide to purchase the speakers first because of the new line up of sony receivers that are coming out this summer like the dg-920 receiver which would be able to play dolby turHD and DTS-HD-MA for just $600 dollars.

VERY nice!!! I've got awhile before I can have the full setup. You won't be disappointed. Just don't forget to break them in for a bit before blasting them.. if you can, that is

I'm just saying you'll be really tempted to blast them straight out of the box. I'm one of those guys that believes in breaking in speakers a bit. I played music through the night while I slept and made sure they were being used during tv watching through the weekend (bought mine on a Thursday I think). By Sunday I turned them up with confidence.

It's great to have a plan, but once you have the speakers, its tough to not crank'em right out of the box.

Smile Go Klipsch

Sounds like a great system... I sell hight end audio and im a Klipsch fan my self.. I do find the Klipsch subs a bit boomy for the buck and would recomend you look at Martin Logan's "Dynamo" appx $600 US
The Pioneer 92 is a great piece in the same price range you could also look at the Yamaha RXV1800 or the Sony STRDA 4300 (Im running the 5300)
Also the advice about a short break in time is right on the money let them run at mid volume before putting the power to them.

Sounds awsome , are you going to use a pair of the 51 for the rears? just curious why you did'nt go with the 42 or 52 surr.?

Timber matching on a subwoofer shouldn't be an issue, I owned a Klipsch reference system (rf-7, rc-7, rf-5 and rs-? surround's) I matched it with a HSU VTF-3 sub, a really nice HT setup that work very nice for music

Hey crackinhedz,
Do you own this sub, I have an all Klipsch setup with the exception of the sub. been holding out for the klipsch sub 12 but this looks like a smokin deal. Just wanted to get some more info before i pull the trigger. I'd like to pull it today.

I have been dying to try this brand. Comments like that makes it hard since my speaker use is 80+% music. Still, I feel as if I am missing out. I wish I knew someone with a Klipsch setup. Master Audio Fox titles and klipsch.

I also match a Hsu Research sub with a Klipsch 7.1 system. Love it.
