Quick cross region question.

I want to get the US version of:

No Country for old men, and
3:10 to Yuma

And run them on my British PS3 - as I understand that they are region free

However, Amazon, and other sites, tell me different.

Can anyone clarify?

1. Questions about region of titles are better asked on the Blu-ray Movies and Releases forum and more specifically on the what region code is it thread.

2. amazon is not a reliable source as far as region encoding is concerned.

3. The movie database on this very site gives region information. Other sites with region information are here and here.

4. Coincidentally, I have a European PS3 and both the titles you mention, and I can confirm they are region free. So order away.

i also own a region B player and both those titles and both run fine.

www.movietyme.com and www.HDmoviesource.com seem reliable too and say they're both region free
