Matt Damon and George Clooney are filming a movie in my hometown RIGHT NOW!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Kinda cool....i live in the soybean capital of the world in central illinois and there are doing a movie or some sort about it and while i dont know the whole writting story they have been around town filming and doing takes and such. Must have a December theme to it as they have snow blowers props and Xmas trees at the mall setup (last week shot outside and inside our mall) and i think its kinda cool. Watched the take at the mall. Half the mall was blocked off. There are staying here until film is complete.

Got the name of it and correction on George clooney he is part owner of production crew so he just here doing whatever with it.

You realize that that movie is going to be animated or claymation, right? I hardly think they would be using snow machines for a cartoon...

Just got news from my buddy they filming at the womens prison right NOW thats a mile at most away from where i live

NICE. It sounds sort of like "The Insider" to me.... which was a good film too.

Not to hijack the thread, but I noticed one of the writers (Scott Burns) wrote "The Bourne Ultimatum" and is also working on an "Untitled Jason Bourne Project."

jkwest meant that "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" is claymation. The OP is actually talking about "The Informant."
