Default Audio Question/Help:

Is there anything wrong with buying home theater packages? I am sure you can get higher quality stuff, but I dont have much money to spend.

What do you all think of this?

You need to go up one, to the 908.

The 908 package is essentially the Onkyo 605 with onkyo brand speakers already included.

But you can get a lower price just buying the Onkyo 605 on amazon and the Polk speakers linked. ^^

Thats about as low as you're gonna get (~$500-$600), and still have a decent worthwhile HDMI Audio system.

How does it work with Two HDMI inputs but only 1 output?

I have a PS3 and a Xbox360 with HDMI.

both game systems connect to the receiver hdmi inputs, then the receiver hdmi output goes to the TV.

So you just cycle inputs on the reciever then as opposed to the TV?
