Suggestions for new HDTV

Currently have a LN52A650 but looking to upgrade to a bigger 3D TV. I'm unsure between LED or Plasma for now, looking at 60" but would probably go for a 55" if a good deal. If there was a great 60" with no 3D I'd probably consider. I generally watch movies and sports.

Here are a few TV's I'm looking at, would like to keep it between $1,000 and $1,500. I've heard good things about the 60PM6700 but not sure about Plasma and Active 3D. I'd appreciate any advice, models to avoid, or models not on my list I should check out. Thanks!
