Default Pioneer deliver once again.

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/content/...oductYear.html

Looks like the Pioneer Elite Plasma went down well at the CES

I think that was for CES2006, though I am not too sure.

But still an amazing TV IMO.

Pioneer has no rival when it comes to plasma tv. They seem to win that every year

Plasma and gaming is not the best mix, you can get some mega burn-in, but it is a very nice TV for HD viewing if you are only going to use it for Blu-ray.

My existing Pioneer 50" has been good as gold as far as the xbox360 goes. After prolonged use there is a slight burn image left behind from static images, as is the case with those bloody anoying images Sky HD insists on leaving on screen for interactive purposes. This burnt image disapears totaly if you watch a film etc.

I really am looking forward to the new Pioneer around June time, my existing 50" is fourth gen and the picture is still great. Cant imagine what the 1080p 50" new set fed with a blu ray signal will look like

I can tell you that on my 46" X Series Bravia it looks amazing, so on the 5000EX it must look even better!

The 46" X series is causing me some sleepless nights, the AV guru at work has this exact screen and raves about it.A mate who I converted to blu ray also opted for this screen. As soon as he gets his PS3,and just about every bugger i know is getting one, it will be straight round with a copy of KOH to see the results.

I shoudnt have bought the Pioneer 43XDE plasma for the other room last year, its not even 1080p, and grabed the 46 X series instead.

Enjoy your set up

I do, when I am at home.

I too am getting a PS3, but unfortunately employees are no allowed to reserve PS3s until all of the pre-orders have been fulfilled, a directive from head office .
