The only non-documentary material I've been able to find from the BBC is A Room With a View - which is also Warner. It's likely to be while...

BBC has maintained a neutral stance as of their last press release on January 16th, 2008. I would not expect this to be released on Blu-ray soon nor has there been any announcements for it. However, I should expect it to populate on the Isles before it hits American shores.

LOT'S of TV series from 1980 to 2000 are shot on VIDEO in VIDEO resolution. Series prior to 1980 where mostly shot on FILM, witch can be restored. They was a lot more TV serie with Video Cam appeared (Professional) because it was way cheaper than film... but also at a cost of being stock with it's actual resolution.

Then when HD came, a lot of TV SHOW switched to FILM again in 2000 and HD CAM too..

Would be no point as it was shot on PAL video as stated in the above post from 4 years ago.

It would still have higher resolution than the NTSC dvds. So it would be an improvement. Just not a huge improvement.
