HDMI surge? - Blu-ray Forum

I have this on another forum, let's try it here! Do they make a surge for HDMI coming out of my cable box, or do I need one? THANKS

No, not to my knowledge. Interesting to find out. You could have surge protection to the Cable input of the box and for the power. Then you would be fairly safe.

No, it's not really necessary.

Surgest are going to come from your power or cable, not between devices. Think outside the house
