Default Banana Plug Question

I am wondering if you guys might know if my Receiver accepts banana plugs! I have a sony ddw900 receiver and they have the screw down speaker connectors. There are holes in the back of the speaker connectors for what i think may be banana plugs, but the holes are not very deep!

Sorry i am still a noob to this! lol! Any help would be greatly appreciated

If the receiver has these coming our the back, then it does

Yep your receiver does... Found a pic on Amazon. You just push the plug into the screw terminal (aka binding post).

I use them for ease of setup. They don't add fidelity or anything. When I dust off my shelves, they make it a quick job do hook everything back up..

You have nothing to worry about, it just give you a cleaner look will still sound the same way if you get them or not.

Sony generally uses 3/4" spacing for the +&- terminals, so you can use dual banana plugs. This gives you the ability to use 1 connector per speaker wire.

Many better speakers have the same terminals, so you can use the dual plugs at both ends of the speaker wire.

if nothing else, it's easier to connect because if you have thick wires, it's tough to turn the binding posts once you have a ton of wires back there....
