Default Changing just the fronts

Hi all. I would like some opinions from some of you as I'm not really an expert. I currently have the Paradigm cinema 110 5.1 set. I would like to change the left and rights to Paradigm monitors either 7 or 9. The center could be any of the 3 monitors. Now the question is, would it be okay, if I just kept the surrounds the way they are now? I don't really feel like getting matching surrounds because they might not fit in my room. If i'm only changing Left, right and center, does that affect anything in a negative way?

The surrounds don't really need to be timbre matched with the fronts, regardless of what people say..... (mine are, but I digress) You will be fine just replacing the fronts.

enjoy!

There might be a slight difference, but nothing that would be extremely noticeable. The fronts and center are the critical pieces to match.

Nice choice of brand, btw.

It sounds like a good plan to me. If your current surrounds work for you, just keep them. Paradigm speakers have a great trait of having smooth midrange and treble with good extension. I think you'll be happy.
