Blu-ray movies & PS3 themes - Blu-ray Forum

ive read on another forum. that, some movies come with a theme. is this true? it was at gamefaqs website. some said that Ghostbusters/The Dark Knight & Underworld 3 comes with a theme.

Ghostbusters came with a pretty awesome theme.

You just put it in your PS3 and go to the game section of XMB. It will says "Ghostbusters Theme". U3 one wasn't so amazing.

but these don't necessarily "come with the bd", everyone has access to these at the Playstation store for free. They use to have Iron Man, etc.

So far, Ghostbusters & Underworld Rise of the Lycans are confirmed. I didn't know that Dark Knight came with one as well. Are you sure about that?

I also wasn't aware that these themes were already available on the PSN store. I haven't been able to locate the Underworld theme there yet. Could you point me in the right direction?

The theme for TDK is purchase-only. There's also themes for the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Hancock.

Pineapple Express came with one

so far it looks like it's sony titles that have them..which makes sense seeing as it's for the ps3

I think you guys are pulling my leg. I've checked all my blu ray's and not one of them has a theme to install.

Doubt it. I have the Underworld theme on my PS3 right now that I got off of the Blu.

Its only select new Sony Blu-rays.

Any releases prior to Pineapple Express do not have this added bonus. However, if a title "fits' the demographic for PS3 then it will more than likely have it.

Ex. The Passengers does not have one because it doesn't make sense but Ghostbusters does.

Some are exclusive to Blu-ray like Pineapple Express and Ghostbusters.

This is cool! I installed the ghostbusters theme last night. It changes the wallpapers even. First it was the main three Ghostbusters. And then later it was the Marshmallow Man!

Thanks for sharing. I would be interested to hear from other users if the US edition also has one, as I still have to buy this movie and am considering to get either the US or the UK edition (seeing how they're region free)
