Default What is your BIGGEST single online purchase?

With a lot of people still being fuzzy about making a purchase online in thousands, what is your biggest SINGLE online purchase order and Where? (can have multiple items, but 1 single order)

Mine being my TV from www.abesofmaine.com. It was about $2900 and the ordered arrived as described in just 4 days!!

It can be ANYTHING. BD (although I highly doubt), or your Stereos, speakers, TVs or even cars?

I often wonder do people really bid cars on ebay?!

Please also include WHERE you bought it. This way, it could be part of other's decision process to buy from that vendor possibly.

Just want to show where people would order their "big items" online, Coming from members that people might see often around here.

$450 for the Samsung HTiB I used back in the Christmas season. Other than that, I rarely average over $25 an item - back when I was an urban youth, jerseys and shoes I would buy averaging $100 an item.

I don't think I could ever order anything over $500. I just don't feel safe with it in shipping. I know the chances of something happening are slim, but just the same.

I did about $1200 online for a computer. Cyberpowerpc.com

That'd be the largest, followed by Custom Oakley sunglasses from on eBay.

I should clarify that with the additional security layers from PayPal (RSA key, verification, etc) and a good Credit Card company/bank, I have very little to worry about on online purchases. I have run into some disputes, but the bank/paypal has been very good each time in holding the payment until resolution. And I always have gotten a good resolution and paid. Never once have I needed to COMPLETELY withold payment.

I've spent $4-$500 quite a few times using Pay-Pal on arcade games and pinballs.

I do not buy online, but someone has bought things for me online.

Ebay - About $40, Pyramid Air - About $79.

No CC and I hate waiting!

Did you get the charcoal kettle, the green one, with the cart/propane starter, etc that Crate-and-barrel has? it's slick! I don't do gas for grills

My biggest purchase online.... that's a toughy.... most big purchases aren't made online by me! I paid $2k for some plane tickets, and I had my jeep "dealer-delivered" brand new... so that was a big one... but not sure that counts. I bought superbowl tickets online one year, but can't remember how much I paid (trying to block it out) That's probably about it..... Most of my big-ticket items were purchased locally.

You shouldn't pass gas over grills. Can be dangerous

isnt that how you're supposed to get SB tickets, or bid online.

I've always wanted to go, but can never justify the $$$....

anyway, I dont want to jack my own thread, back to topic
