Could this be better than Spider-Man 2 the game? I guess we'll see....

Skimmed through the article, kind of a funny preview article lol.

I just reserved the game earlier today.

I was specifically referring to the writing itself, not the game. The article is, by far, the best read I have ever experienced for any entertainment piece.

Well, the game doesn't sound too bad either. In this case, good article = good game lol.

I don't remember, could you destroy buildings in Ultimate Destruction? I would LOVE to be able to chuck some enemy into a building and have it collapse on top of them. I'm all over this game. Between this, Metal Gear, and Lego Indy, combined with all the Blu releases, I'm glad I've got some money put back.

Great article. Here's a funny read from before Hulk 2 was greenlit:

Why No One Want Make Hulk 2? By The Hulk

What are you talking about?!?!? There is no 'Hulk 2' being made, therefore there hasn't been a 'Hulk 2' greenlit. 'The Incredible Hulk' IS NOT A SEQUEL. It has nothing to do with Ang Lee's film aside from having the same source material.

LMAO... looks like it wasn't as original as I thought! What a copycat!

How is it not a sequel? Gen. Ross is still after Hulk from the first movie, and it seems to pick up where Banner is hiding out in the middle of nowhere, just as the first one ended.

They are totally ignoring the events of the first film. It's been said that this film is the way the first one should have been. I'm reading the book, it's a lot more like the TV series in theme (fugitive) with the action and Hulk Smash that everyone wanted from the first movie.

Back on topic, this seems very similar to the last Hulk game but with better graphics. I'm hoping it's great.

I'm not too sure why everyone is saying it'll be a great game. So far all it seems to be a game where you just go around a city and smash things. Granted it will be enjoyable at first, but after an hour or so it will get boring and repeatitive.

This is definately going to be a rental for me unless more reviews come out saying otherwise.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there. But I hope it is better than the last game.

Because open/sandbox style games that also give you the freedom of destroying the environment can make for some really fun games. I doubt you have a 360 but Crackdown was AWESOME- it was like being a mini-hulk and running around in Grand Theft Auto's Liberty City. The last Hulk game was also pretty good by a lot of folk's standards.

Another thing that bugs me about the "repetitive" argument is that ALL games are that way. It's just a matter of it's repetitive in a way that you enjoy.

FPS games- All you do is run and shoot stuff!
Puzzle games- All you do is solve a puzzle!
Music/rhythm games- All you do is hit a button in time to the music!

... if you want to boil a game down to it's core mechanic, all games are repetitive, even "live action" games like baseball. That's part of what makes games enjoyable.
